• Women first competed in 1900.
• The first separate winter games celebration was in 1924, beginning in i994, the winter games will take place between summer games celebration.
• The Olympic motto is Citius, Allius, Fortivs meaning Surfer Higher and stronger composed by Father Dixon in 1897, and introduced in 1920 for the first time.
